Authorities are investigating the killings of five members of a family whose bodies were found in their home in the tiny central Illinois town of Beason.
Sheriff Steven Nichols says no arrests have been made and that area residents should lock their doors at night as a precaution.
Nichols identified the victims as Ruth and Raymond Gee, and their three children: Justina Constnat, Dillen Constant and Austin Gee.
He won't provide details about the slayings or the suspected cause of death. He says an autopsy is scheduled for later today.
Authorities found the bodies Monday afternoon after responding to a 911 call from someone reporting that shots may have been fired at the address.
