Stateline Gears Up for Yet Another Soldier Homecoming
It's getting to be a weekly occurrence and we certainly don't mind. Another round of stateline soldiers are returning home from the battlefield this week.

On Wednesday, nearly 50 Illinois National Guard Soldiers will return. Some are with the 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team out of Machesney Park, and about 20 of the soldiers are from the 106th Cavalry Unit out of Dixon. The men and women are ending a year-long mission in Afghanistan. The homecoming celebration is at the Dixon Armory beginning at 10:30 a.m on Wednesday, September 23rd.
