Two Rockford men are behind bars tonight after ramming a car into a local convenience store and trying to make off with merchandise.
It happened just after 2a.m. at Casey's General Store in Stillman Valley. Police tell us an Ogle County Sheriff's Deputy saw a car ram the front door of the store, breaking the glass.
The two men then tried to take more than $3,000 in store merchandise. That's when 22-year-old Andrew Sanders and 46-year-old Richard Overcash were arrested. They're both charged with burglary.
