A heads up for local residents planning on getting a seasonal flu shot this weekend, two flu clinics in Boone County have been canceled.

Boone County health officials canceled the flu clinics because they have not yet received the vaccine.

The clinic scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, September 11th at the Keen Age Center in Belvidere will be canceled, as well as the flu clinic on Saturday, September 12th at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.

Both clinics were scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon.
