A central Illinois truck driver is charged with reckless homicide in a crash that killed a woman and two of her grandchildren.
A McLean County grand jury indicted 35-year-old Randall Fehr of Fairbury this week in the July 22nd collision. The crash killed 65-year-old Jean Stocker of Gibson City and 19-year-old Jenelle and nine-year-old Amy Stocker of Quincy.
The accident happened at Illinois Nine and the Cooksville-Ellsworth Blacktop in McLean. Authorities say the trucker was driving recklessly and caused the crash by failing to stop at a stop sign. Fehr was also ticketed for driving without insurance.
Rumble strips have since been installed to alert motorists to the intersection.
