United Airlines is recalling 600 more flight attendants who were on voluntary furlough.
The flight attendants will return to duty starting March 15, based on seniority. They will join another 400 flight attendants who had already been scheduled to return on April First.
A United spokesman says the recall was due to changes in the Elk Grove Village-based airline's flight schedule.
The Association of Flight Attendants calls the recall "good news for our jobs." The nation's Number Two airline has said it hopes to emerge from Chapter Eleven bankruptcy protection by June 30th.
