Officials say at least three are dead as a result of Monday’s central California earthquake, and aftershocks are still being felt.
The U.S. Geological Survey gives the quake a preliminary magnitude of 6.5. It was centered north of the coastal town of Cambria about 185 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
In downtown L.A., the quake was felt as a sustained but gentle rolling motion, and with the terror alert now at orange, the quake puts people even more on edge.
