A "Century Of Values" is on display as a popular national youth organization continues its nationwide tour.
The Detroit Branch of the Boy Scouts of America stopped in Rockford today. They presented the local boy scouts council with a mural featuring many historical scout members. The tour will cover forty five thousand miles nationwide, making three hundred stops showing off what the scouts have to offer to communities across the country.
"This time of year is when we are recruiting and we want to get as many boys and girls involved in the program so they can participate in all the 100th anniversary celebrations we have coming up," says Ray Warren with Boy Scouts of America.
The Boy Scouts of America serve nearly 20,000 youths and 5,000 adults in the state line area.
