You may remember last month when we told you about a suspected child molester that was mistakenly released from jail.
Twenty-seven-year-old Lamont Stewart of Beloit was arrested Friday night in St. Paul, Minnesota. Stewart was charged September 30th in Beloit with two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. He's accused of assaulting two sisters, ages four and five.
Stewart was arrested in St. Paul last month during a traffic-related stop and was booked into the jail on the warrant from Wisconsin. He was awaiting extradition to Wisconsin when the Minnesota State Patrol picked him up on November 9.
The next day, Stewart was released after posting bail. A breakdown in communications is said to be blamed the accidental release.
