The Illinois Department of Professional Regulation reaches an agreement with a Rockford doctor charged with possession of child pornography.
Department of Professional Regulation spokesperson, Chris Ganschow, says the board will allow 57-year-old Burton Moore to return to practice as a pediatrician. But, under an agreement today, Dr. Moore cannot see children in his practice un-supervised.
Ganschow says because Moore is only charged and not indicted, his license has not been permanently suspended.
Ganschow says the board will follow the investigation on Moore closely and reevaluate the situation in January.
In September, Moore's medical license was temporarily suspended after police discovered child pornography on his computer.
