(Washington, DC) – Today, Rep. Bill Foster (IL-14) announced a health center serving in Rock Falls would receive more than $600,000 from the Recovery Act Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This funding was made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which Foster voted for.
Beth Fiorini, the Executive Director for the Whiteside County Health Department, said, “These funds will be used to build a 3,400 square foot addition to the clinic, giving us the space to hire an additional licensed clinical social worker and to increase psychiatrist time so we can serve more patients.”
