Some former Eagle Food stores are taking on a new name.
The Eagle on 11th Street closed down and is now reopen as Hilander. You might recall, Eagles parent company filed bankruptcy and put all its stores up for auction in September.
Kroger purchased two Eagle stores, one on 11th Street and one on South Alpine.
The existing Hilander on 11th Street will now operate as a small pharmacy and drug store.
The former Eagle's on Alpine will reopen as Hilander on Oct. 16.
