In light of Friday's foiled plot to bomb the CherryVale Mall, Rockford City Aldermen voted to install $10,000 worth of security cameras at City Hall. That’s just the start of the many extra eyes are going watching us in the New Year. Rockford Police Chief Chet Epperson states, "All hot spots, all public places. Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey says he's working with Chief Epperson to take a look at increasing security in many key buildings and locations.
