Students and faculty gathered at auburn high school to celebrate the opening of the waterfall. It's all a part of the annual Rockford Area Ponds for Kids Program.

The program aims to bring a pond to every school in the Rockford. The waterfall is constructed by students and provides a tranquil environment on school grounds.

The opening coincides with the Rockford Area Parade of Ponds, which will be held this Saturday and Sunday. Tickets cost $10. Kids under 12 are free.
