Tragic Dekalb Motorcycle Accident
A dekalb county man is killed after being thrown from his motorcycle early this morning.

A dekalb county man is killed after being thrown from his motorcycle early this morning. It happened at Baseline and Malta Roads in Kirkland. William Miestand, 49-years-old, of Malta was was pronounced dead on the scene. His passenger, 38-year-old Catherine Cooper, also of Malta, is listed in serious condition at St. Anthony's Hospital. The Dekalb County Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
