A judge has confined to their homes two teenage girls who allegedly participated in a videotaped attack on another teenager.
Officials say a 15-year-old from Crete and a 16-year-old from Steger have been charged with aggravated battery in the Sauk Village attack of a 17-year-old girl. Seventeen-year-olds Sarah Kraft and Marcelena Castillo have already been charged in the June 2 fight.
Investigators are still trying to determine who videotaped the assault with a cell phone. The recording shows a group kicking, punching, burning and cutting the hair of the victim.
Officials say the 15-year-old girl cut Michaels' hair and burned her with a cigarette lighter. The 16-year-old allegedly kicked Michaels while she was immobile.
