Helping Chrysler Workers

I really do appreciate the Town of Belvidere trying to help people in these hard times, but HELLO there are more than just Chrysler people without a job. Belvidere does not revolve around Chrysler. I do feel that prices need to go down, but I beleive that picking a certain company and giving only those workers a discout is a little bit much.

geez. they are getting 95% of their pay!!!! tough times!!! why don't you help the people who worked forever and now find themselves out of unemployment. This is a joke. If the unions would make some concessions but no they must make 30 dollers per hour to drive up the price of cars. do not even get the average joe started on this subject.

I think that what Ashley's Salon is doing is fantastic. They are helping the people who live next door to you and me. This is the kind of caring and dedication to a community that sets an example. You can not be a part of something and not react to help when the going gets tough. It shows that the owner and staff of the salon are doing their part and that the rest of us should follow their lead and do what we can. They are an inspiration. I live in Belvidere and have several family members and friends that have been affected by Chrysler's shut down. So you can bet we are all greatful to Ashley's for the help they are offering and will be sure to take them up on their offer. A great big THANK YOU to them.

What makes these people so special?? What about the thousands of other unemployed people in this community?

Its nice that people are giving a break to Chrysler workers but what about all the other people who are out of work?

I've been a client at Ashley's for a few years now and they are wonderful!! they are always doin something to help out the community and those in need. I think that this discount for chrysler workers is just another wonderful thing that these great people are doing for us!!
