A Rockford man, convicted of murder will not get a new trial.
Alan Beaman's request was turned down by an appeals court today. He'll continue to serve his 50 year sentence for the stabbing and strangling of Jennifer Lockmiller.
Beaman was convicted of the 22-year-olds death back in 1993.
