Voters in four Harlem districts had to go the extra mile to vote today. That's about how far it is from the National Guard Armory to the Roscoe Village Maintenance Facility. The precinct for Harlem Districts four, 14, 24 and 31 moved from the Armory to the Maintenance Facility this election. But about a dozen voters still showed up at the Armory. They said they didn't get a letter the county clerk's office sent out about the change.
County Clerk David Johnson says, "We could have messed up and missed somebody or that, but we sent out to each of the persons that was registered that we had changed their voting place."
Election officials at the National Guard Armory directed anyone who missed the letter over to the new center.
