As we told you first Monday, retired Air Force Maj. Gen. John Borling Tuesday officially announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.
Borling made a splash Tuesday to make his announcement, landing in the Rock River.
The former fighter pilot will now begin a statewide announcement tour.
Borling's military career spans more than 37 years, an experience he wants to bring to government.
