With new health risks being discovered every single day, many of us are unaware of how we can stay healthy.
Today, doctors gathered in Freeport to educate the public on some of those health risks at the Minority Health Fair. Presenters spoke about everything from diet and nutrition to major health issues affecting men and women. Participants were also able to take part in free screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, and HIV.
