A twelve-year-old girl on trial for stabbing a classmate with a knife pleads no contest.
The plea to first-degree reckless-injury was entered for the girl in a rock county court.
Last may, the McNeel Middle School student was arrested when she allegedly drove a serrated knife into the skull of a classmate during recess. The boy suffered minor brain damage but is making a full recovery.
The girl is scheduled to be sentenced September 10.
