Beth Randall of German Valley actually lives with these little creatures. She's been taking them in for years. Randall says as a result of the economy, more people are abandoning their pets, and she feels it's her responsibility to take them in.
"The sanctuary is operated through our home, and we kinda fell into it. We started taking in rescued animals as a home school project and ended up taking in an awful lot," says Randall.
Coming up tomorrow on the 23 News update at ten, we'll take an in depth look into Critter Camp.

Being a volunteer and a board member of Critter Camp I see the need of donations and supplies to fund this sanctuary. Beth does a wonderful job of caring for these pets but can't do it alone. With the rough economy people need to realize it is not only people going hungry so are the animals and they also deserve better.
