The city's police department is saturating the Harrison District with more than 100 officers in an effort to stop gang activity.
Police spokesman Dave Bayless says 12 people were busted with pot and seven others were arrested on other drug charges. Bayless says four people were arrested on outstanding warrants, one was charged with battery and two illegal guns were seized.
The Harrison Police District's 38 homicides this year are more than any other area of the city.
Police say they'll target the district with the saturation patrols every night until police stats show that violent crime is down.
