More than five thousands gun owners., including many from the Rockford area, rallied in Springfield today for concealed carry in our state.
They're trying to build support for a vote on a 'concealed carry' law that would let Illinoisans carry guns in public.
Illinois and Wisconsin are the only states without a law like that. but state leaders say, don't expect any quick action.
Local gun-owner Kenny Polhamus says the size of the event alone.. should show lawmakers how many people support gun rights in our state.
