Board member Polly Berg, along with several other democrats on the county board, voiced their support for county employees.

Berg says she's opposed to bringing in out-of-town workers to fill-in for union members.

She says paying temps a total of $90,000 a week is a misuse of taxpayer dollars.

Berg says the board will vote Thursday night whether to continue paying out-of-town temporary workers to fill the vacant union positions.
