Hynes made a stop in Rockford Tuesday to talk about his plan to create jobs in the stateline.

The current state comptroller says he's working on a national manufacturing policy. One part of that policy is made in America tax credits. The credits would encourage companies to stay in the United States instead of taking business and jobs overseas. Hynes says more attention needs to be placed on our economy.

Hynes is hoping to fill the seat being vacated by republican Peter Fitzgerald.
