Monday night the Hononegah teachers union and the school board will make one final attempt to negotiate a contract. Since August teachers have been working without a contract.

Money and benefits are not issues left unsettled in this contract dispute. It's the wording of a five to two policy. Teachers want it in writing that they will only have to teach five hours and have two planning periods.

If a contract is not agreed on Monday night, teachers will strike Tuesday.
