Daimler-Chrysler is laying-off 60-employees from the Belvidere Plant.
23News has learned the cuts will not be full-time employees but two-year contract workers from all shifts.
This comes only hours after Chrysler announced the company lost 1.5-billion dollars in the third quarter which is Double than what experts predicted. The Belvidere Plant just launched a third shift in July, when it hired 1,000 new employees.
