Amid the terrorists attacks, airport security has changed in great lengths. Airport officials say the biggest change to security is having federal officials screening and checking bags.
As passengers, we know the drill taking off our jackets and shoes before being screened. Airports have also upgraded their technology.
This includes new xray machines that can detect any bomb residue. The Rockford Airport also changed to a 24-hour facility and have added staff since the attacks.
