Last month we told you the story of a 15-year-old Belvidere girl who saved her father's life.

Thursday morning, Jessica Bowron and her father, Steve, were on the CBS Morning Show. Their story ran as part of an 'American Heroes' segment.

Jessica was also honored in Chicago last week for her heroic efforts. Steve Bowron was mowing the lawn when his tractor flipped over into a pond.

The tractor had him pinned underwater. Jessica jumped in the pond and held her dad's head above water for 20 minutes until emergency crews arrived.
