The Rolling Green neighborhood is among the hardest hit areas from the storm.
But it's perhaps one of the areas you'd least expect to see flooding. That's a problem because none of these homeowners had flood insurance. And to look at the devastation, it's estimated that the damages are about 25-35 thousand dollars in damages.
Some people are talking about foreclosing and cutting their losses but that's a tough decision.
Alderman Johnson thinks much of this damage could have been prevented but on the same note she says city leaders have been dealing with some tough economic times. She adds that it would have been hard to pass a multi-million dollar drainage project at the same time they were cutting employees and making other budget cuts.
