ROCKFORD – Dr. Eric E. Whitaker, state public health director, along with health officials and cancer survivors will urge uninsured Illinois women to sign up for the expanded Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP), which went into effect Friday, September 1.
The program will enable 3,000 more women access to free screenings and treatment for breast and cervical cancer.
