UNDATED (AP) -- Starting Friday, police across the state are stepping up efforts to catch motorists driving while drunk.
The patrols will run through the long weekend.
More than 300 agencies across the state -- and three-thousand agencies throughout the Midwest -- will be participating.
Authorities say one of the most highly patrolled roads will be Interstate 94 through Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Michigan.
I-39 and US 20 will also be heavily patrolled.
Authorities will be looking out for speeders, any drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any other illegal activities.
