As of 6:00 a.m. Monday morning, 33,000 people in the stateline are still without power. A line of thunderstorms that rolled through the area between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday morning hampered Com Ed's cleanup and knocked out power to other customers.
Com Ed remains hopeful all power will be restored by Monday evening.
