Counseling is being offered this week to a Belleville high school's students who are grieving the death of a 15-year-old freshman.
Belleville East High School student Jacob Kellogg was found dead Tuesday in his bed in his Swansea home.
There's no word yet on autopsy findings. His parents don't think the seizure disorder the teenager had when he was younger had anything to do with his death, noting he hadn't had a seizure since he was 5.
Kellogg was a member of the marching band and debate team.
A private family funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Garden in Fairview Heights.
