New information Tuesday night about the Rockford man killed in a weekend car crash. The family of Robert Goodman is speaking out, about their tragic loss. Police say it was because of 25-year-old Steven Boyer of Bartlett, IL. They say he was driving drunk on the night of the accident.
Goodman was a father, a grandfather, a friend and a war hero. He served in the Korean war as a medic. The family has endless questions about why the accident happened, and why a sweet old man had to die.
The visitation for Robert Goodman will be at the Honquest Funeral Home from three to eight on Friday.
