Wisconsin is on pace to produce the largest cranberry crop in the nation's history.
The state is projected to produce 3.75 million barrels of the tart berries. That would be about 2.5 percent more than last year when Wisconsin had a record-setting crop of 3.66 million barrels.
The USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service says Wisconsin will have led the nation in cranberry production for 12 straight years.
Massachusetts would be next with 1.75 million barrels, followed by New Jersey at fewer than half a million.
