The Freeport Hospital Network held a media tour Thursday of their new Burchard Hills Family Health Care Center. It's on the city's west side. The 60,000 square foot facility was needed to offer more work space for nurses and doctors. And provide a more efficient and relaxing environment to patients.
"There's a huge difference in this place. Our other places are older, more cramped, less efficient. And this one as you can see has a lot of calming effects, very warm," FHN President Michael Perry said.
The center officially opens January 5th. It will also offer an orthopedics practice and physical therapy.
