Nicor gas is on the scene of gas leak in the Village of Winnebago. The leak is near the intersection of south Cunningham and Winnebago Road. Winnebago county deputies tell us a snowmobile veered off the track and ran into an exposed natural gas line. Authorities tell 23 News that a significant amount of gas was released, but they are not planning on evacuating anyone at this time.
