Politicians Remember Veterans
Today is Veteran's Day and politicians including Sen. Durbin and Lt. Gov. Quinn, are remembering those who served across Illinois.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Today is Veteran's Day and politicians and citizens are remembering those who served across Illinois.
Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin plans to participate in a ceremony this afternoon at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs director Tammy Duckworth will be in Chicago, where she is the guest speaker at a ceremony at a local veterans' medical center.
Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn also is in Chicago, where he'll mark the holiday with a commemoration the city's flagship Harold Washington Library. Congressman Bill Foster plans to attend a Veteran's Day parade and ceremony in Aurora before heading to a memorial in Elgin.
And at the Erickson Retirement Community in Lincolnshire, there will be a Vietnam veterans' art exhibit on display.
