Freeport Honeywell Cuts
One of Freeport's largest employers is cutting back its workforce.

A Honeywell spokesman says the company is laying off 210 workers nationwide in its sensing and control division. He wouldn't say how many job cuts are happening in Freeport. But did confirm some people are losing their jobs immediately. It's all because of a reduced global demand for some Honeywell products, triggered by the economic slowdown.
