A second Glenbrook North High School student who participated in a videotaped hazing incident has filed a lawsuit to prevent the punishment from being enforced.
The lawsuit was filed today in Cook County Chancery Court against the high school's Dean of Students on behalf of a girl listed as Jane Doe.
It comes one day after 18-year-old Marnie Holz was suspended for her participation in the incident and responded by filing a lawsuit.
Meanwhile high school officials say they have completed processing 32 10-day suspensions in connection with the incident, 28 girls, four boys, all seniors.
The punishment is in response to the May Fourth incident in which girls were beaten and showered with mud, feces, paint and garbage.
Principal Michael Riggle says it will be up to the school district to decide whether to expel the students
