Driving Habits Mostly Unchanged
Experts say we're still being frugal at the pump, despite lower gas prices

It will be a while before we could go on a road trip by re-charging a battery. But until then, several Stateline drivers say they'll continue being frugal at the pump. AAA experts think even though gas prices have dropped, we'll continue to drive less since we're now set in our ways. And some motorists we talked to say the same thing.
"We've continued to change our habits and keep those same habits we've had. We've pretty much done any kind of shopping in a row where we're hitting one store after another trying to get it all in one swoop from one store to the other stores," says Jeff Patenaude of Woodstock.
"We have a larger car and smaller car and now with the gas prices gone done some, we're driving the larger car when we go on trips and so forth, for the time being," says Steve Clay of Orangeville.
AAA reports gasoline demand has dropped six-percent during the last few months.
