NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Two quick polls conducted after last night's presidential debate score it in favor of Barack Obama.

CNN's national poll of debate watchers found 54 percent saying they thought the Democrat did the better job, while 30 percent chose John McCain.

The number of people saying they had a favorable opinion of McCain remained unchanged from before the debate at 51 percent. But, Obama's numbers improved on that count, rising four points after the debate to 64 percent. As for which candidate they found more likable, respondents chose Obama by a better than 2-1 margin, 65 percent to 28.

Meanwhile, a CBS News/Knowledge Networks poll surveyed uncommitted voters. Forty percent gave Obama the win, with 26 percent picking McCain and 34 percent calling it a tie.
