A 17-year-old girl has died after being shot on a Chicago bus. The Cook County medical examiner's office says the girl was pronounced dead late last night at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. near East 71st St. and Cottage Grove Ave. on the city's south side.
Police are still investigating and the girl's name is not being released at this time.
