A stateline homecoming queen killed ten years ago is honored today with a permanent memorial. A painting of Dominique Musso can now be found at Klehm Arboretum. Musso was killed in a car crash just outside East high school, just days before being crowned homecoming queen.
"It means that the way Dominique is so much a live in our home she's so much alive in our community." said Tina Musso, Dominique's mother.
The memorial replaces a mural painted on the los Torres Market building that was torn down in 2000.
