While there are a lot of manufacturing jobs available, businesses are having a hard time finding qualified candidates. One solution to combating that problem is manufacturing boot camp.
A few dozen people are taking part in the three-week training session. It kicked off Tuesday at Rock Valley College. The focus that afternoon was on reading blueprints and being able to understand what an engineer is trying to communicate.
