The Winnebago County Board has teamed up with the Illinois EPA for a county wide used waste tire collection. So far 7,000 tires have been dropped off today in hopes of recycling and battling a virus in our area.

If we didn't drop off our tires today we can still do so tomorrow from eight am to four pm at the Winnebago County Highway Department on North Springfield Avenue .
