A Rockford woman says she was scared to tell police she saw a man murder her husband back in 1994. That's according to testimony given by Carolyn Tilson Thursday in the murder trial of 67-year-old Edward Lee Henry, also known as Mustafa Ibrahim.
He is accused of killing his wife Ileane Girley. Tilson says she was walking home from a party when she saw Ibrahim beat Girley and run her over with his car up to six times. She says she was too afraid of her own abusive husband to tell police everything she knew.
He died in 2000, and when police questioned her in 2004, she gave the whole story.
